Privacy policy

Business Chat AI (“we”, “us”) provides WhatsApp Business Cloud API workspace software for businesses worldwide. This policy explains what we store, why, and how to ask for export or deletion. Last updated 6 October 2026.

Controller. Business Chat AI. We serve customers worldwide. Contact: the form on /contact.

What this product is. Software for businesses to operate official WhatsApp messaging after Meta has verified them. We are not Meta. Meta Business Verification documents are submitted to Meta, not to us.

Legal basis. Contract (to run your workspace) and legitimate interest in security, billing, and abuse prevention. Marketing templates require WhatsApp opt-in collected by the workspace owner.

Data we store. Account name and email; workspace name; country and currency; contacts (name, international phone number, lists); message content and delivery status; template metadata; encrypted Cloud API tokens; subscription and Razorpay payment references; audit logs.

What we do not store. Meta Business Verification KYC files (those stay with Meta). We do not sell personal data.

WhatsApp content. Messages are processed to show the inbox, campaigns, automation, and logs for your organisation only. Each workspace is isolated by organisation ID.

Processors. Hosting and database providers; Meta Graph API / WhatsApp Cloud API for message delivery; Razorpay for software subscription payments. WhatsApp conversation charges are billed by Meta on the customer’s Meta account.

Cookies. We use a session cookie and local storage for sign-in and theme. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this site.

Retention. Default 365 days for customer messaging data, unless the workspace owner exports or deletes sooner. Account data is kept while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period after closure for billing and legal records.

International transfers. Meta and payment processors may process data in your country and in other countries where their services run. By using the service you acknowledge that Cloud API delivery depends on Meta.

Your rights. Workspace owners can export or delete customer data in Settings. You may also request access, correction, or erasure via contact. End users of a business should contact that business first.

Children. The product is for businesses, not for children under 18.
